Biography
Prof. Sofia Marchetti is Professor of Stem Cell Biology at University of Lombardy Medical School, Milan. Prof. Marchetti's work centres on potency assays and the biology of mesenchymal stromal cells. Their group runs several investigator-led studies and contributes to international consensus work. At ICRT 2027, Prof. Marchetti presents “Mesenchymal stromal cells in 2027: identity, potency and the end of the ‘stem cell’ label”.
